With an expansive deck looking over Lake Michigan at the 31st Street beach, Pier 31 is just footsteps from the sand, beach and boating docks. Go for fun in the sun or to wind down after a hard day at the office. The party is FREE! You just need to purchase food and drinks from the restaurant. Pier 31 has an EXCELLENT view of the fireworks at Navy Pier. The fireworks start at 9:30pm! When you exit Lake Shore Drive at 31st Street, look for the blue parking signs. There are several of these signs that will lead you to parking. There is parking south of pier 31 at the parking garage (Disregard the STOP sign that say's boaters only if you don't see the Security Guard ). If he's there just let him know you're here for the Kizomba Chicago event...(city metered) North of Pier 31. There some free street parking 1 block west of Lake Shore Drive,, on the side streets.
