It’s time for your hug lessons with Sol David this month. And your DJs are Dj Black Vado & Dj Romi 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 "Sol David is the 2017 Africadancar Championship UK No. 1 and World Finalist and regularly teaches Semba and Kizomba through Dance With Soul courses, weekenders and weekly classes in the West Midlands since 2013. His Caribbean heritage introduced Sol to the sounds of Calypso, Zouk, Soca and Reggae from a very young age - a musical journey that then extended into Hip Hop, Soul, Salsa & Dancehall in his teens where he became a rapper, dancer and music producer for several years. The Dance With Soul approach focuses on musicality, the power of passada and storytelling where dance is an opportunity to elevate the self and each other. Technically, Sol is keen on footwork and leading and following skills. Expect laughter, great vibes, authentic Kizomba, challenge and a space where your unanswered questions get answered and your thirst for more gets fulfilled! 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 Dj Black Vado is an Angolan Dj living in the uk, he mainly DJs at private parties so it’s a pleasure to have him at Kizomba CoOp to play. Vado has been to the coop before to enjoy, relax and dance with you. 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 DJ Romi (a.k.a Tati), started her dancing journey at the age of 10 with Hip Hop, then with Cuban Salsa and Bachata at the age of 13. From a young age, she has always had an interest in dance styles and music under the Kizomba umbrella. Romi has had a passion for music for as long as she can remember, and took the deep dive into the DJ world in 2023. Her music library covers Kizomba, Urban Kiz, Tarraxinha,Tarraxo, Konpa, Semba, and more. In December 2023, she became the first UK Solo Styling Champion in Tarraxo, and in February 2024, she was awarded 3rd Place at Global Tarraxo in Montréal, Canada. Having traveled around the world learning Tarraxo, she is eager to continue to promote the growth of this style within the UK.
