Join the best kizomba social dance classes in Cincinnati. We'll teach you proper foundations and connect you to the local, regional, and national kizomba community (and beyond)! Ladies Ginga: Ladies Ginga is a fun, femme-focused series designed to bring out your expression and personality on the dance floor. Emphasizing essential kizomba elements, grounding, body awareness and control, and musicality. Each week, we will learn and perform a choreographed routine. Series participants should expect to not only bond with other women in the process but to also gain poise and confidence that will not be contained to the dance floor. We like to record our class performance, so wear comfortable clothing that also makes you feel fabulous. Kizomba: This class focuses on the essential movements of kizomba and partner dancing dynamics. The class is progressive in nature and is differentiated for dancers of a variety of levels. This class provides a solid foundation for those new to kizomba dancing, but also supports the growth of those who have been dancing a while. Konpa This class focuses on essential movements and partner dancing dynamics of konpa. This class is also progressive in nature. Emphasis is based on the beauty, simplicity, and sensibility of konpa. About Your Instructor: With eight years of teaching kizomba and her educational psychology background, Lisa identifies each dancer's strengths and growth areas to build confidence and provide you with mental, creative, and technical challenges appropriate for your level. Group class provide an awesome opportunity to connect to our community of kizomba dancers. Cost: One Class $15; Both Classes $25 Pre-register for 4-class session - $48 (free social), must register by 8/25. Class Dates: August 25 Ladies’ Ginga 5pm; Kizomba 6pm September 8 Ladies’ Ginga 5pm; Kizomba 6pm September 15 Ladies’ Ginga 5pm; Kizomba 6pm September 29 Konpa 5pm; Kizomba 6pm Class Social! September 29th, 7pm-9pm Practice what you've been learning and get to know other dancers. The cost is $10, $5 with a class that same day.
