He has learned and danced in over 15 countries across Europe, USA and Asia and admires the beauty of connection, togetherness and technique when dancing. He currently teaches Kizomba/Urbankiz in Japan. He’s also received countless awards since he started dancing: - Japan Kizomba Festival 2017 - Traditional Freestyle - 1st Place - Japan Kizomba Festival 2018 - Choreography - 1st Place - Japan Kizomba Festival 2019 - Freestyle * 1st Place - Kizomba * 1st Place - Tarraxa * 2nd Place - Semba * 2nd Place - Urbankiz 【NANA Profile】 NANA, born and raised in LA, was heavily influenced by music and dance from her early years. From the age of 3, she started Gymnastics, and moved on to study Ballet and Jazz Dance. During her student years, she joined Dance Clubs and Cheerleading Squads, and acted as the Choreographer of Hip Hop and R&B numbers, leading to the teams winning National Championships. As Sub-Captain of her squad, she also found her strength as the “life of the party” of the team😂 After graduating school, she continued to dance, and pursued her career in Marketing, which eventually led to her directing the launches of VOGUE/VOGUE HOMMES/GQ etc., as well as producing events such as FASHION’S NIGHT OUT, WOMEN/MEN OF THE YEAR, etc. in Japan. Meanwhile, her passion for dance expanded to partner dance, e.g. Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, etc. where she currently organizes events for international artists, and serves as JP’s Dance Entertainer🤩 through lessons, translations, and MC.
