Kizomba Night

Northshore Latin Dance continues to bring a Kizomba Night at the beautiful venue, Heaven Scent. Great range of $15-$20 main meals, drinks: $6-$7/ bottle of beers, $7/glass for the wine and house spirit starting from $8. ♦️8pm: Full one hour Kizomba Open Level Class with Luciano & Annie, Then social dancing to various Kizomba songs with a few Salsa Bachata songs in between. ♦️Door entry fee: $10 per person. $15 for official dating couples. *Luciano Costa, a Brazilian dancer, teacher and performer committed to Latin and Afro style of dances for more than 20 years. Within that time he has widened his knowledge through dancing, teaching and training both in New Zealand and overseas. Particularly, Luciano professes in Kizomba both TRADITIONAL KIZOMBA and URBAN KIZOMBA. He first encountered Kizomba in 2004 in Portugal and started taking private lessons with Angolan instructors. Several years later and after moving to New Zealand Luciano consistently indulges in his efforts to showcase Kizomba dance in Auckland by teaching classes and returning overseas from time to time to teach workshops there. Furthermore, Luciano has extended his class lessons and Kizomba principles to regular social dancing, genuinely dancing with all levels of dancers and allowing them to experience the wonderful feelings, rhythm and soulful passion of Kizomba. #salsa #bachata #kizomba
