ABOUT THE CLASSES: The goal of these courses are to give high quality kizomba/Semba instruction for dancers of all levels, while focusing on giving each student a strong grasp of fundamentals. Our commitment, is to provide top quality instruction that focuses on a strong understanding of fundamentals, concepts of movements, body mechanics (and how to work with you move naturally), musicality, fostering personal creativity, and developing your dance personality. We also believe in well rounded instruction to include cultural references, history, learning about music, as well other dance & cultural influences, that will ultimately deepen your understanding and mastery of the dance! We welcome dancers of all backgrounds (salsa, bachata, tango, fusion, Brazilian zouk, urbanize, west coast swing, 2 step, line dance, hip hop, and the list goes on!) and those with none at all! LEVEL 1: MUST HAVE FUNDAMENTALS ALL LEVELS, progressive class. In-depth, high quality instruction for leads AND follows. Geared to forming (or strengthening) a strong foundation of basics and must have fundamentals for dancing Kizomba/Semba. Perfect for beginners and those that have been dancing longer. Instructor accommodations offered for all levels of dancers, with individual tips & techniques.
