Kizomba & Semba Bootcamp - Alhassane & Agnes

Warmly welcome to a day diving into the magic world of kizomba and semba! 🪄💞 Semba and kizomba are Angolan partner dances danced in closed embrace, characterized by flow, playfulness, and groove. Semba is the more energetic and fun vibe, while kizomba is its more juicy and smooth cousin. 🔥💃🏼 We are starting off the day with a ginga class. Ginga means ‘groove’ and it is a solo class focused on how you move in kizomba/semba with the right groove in your hips, legs and upper body. It is open to anybody regardless of dance role or gender. 🧚‍♀️👠👟 After that, we will do a 2-hour kizomba workshop (the authentic Angolan style) and a 2-hour semba workshop. We will go through the characteristics of each dance style, the flow of the movements, the connection with your partner, and some fundamental and a little more advanced figures to play around with.
