He worked for a few years in a most famous theatre for Brazilian folklore dancing called Plataforma 1 in Rio de Janeiro. He founded Brasil Dance Company where he taught & choreographed performances. In 1990, after a European dance Tour, Regi settled & taught Afro-Latin dances in Germany then in Italy where he lives now. Margherita Calderone (Italy): She started to dance professionally with Reginaldo in Brasil Dance Company since 1993. Reginaldo & Margherita: Together, they also taught Casino (aka Cuban Salsa) and Bachata (Dominicana) Then they ventured into the Kizomba-Semba world. They participated in Petchu’s Teacher Training Program in Lisbon, Portugal. They also came under the tutorage of several renowned Angolan teachers, such as Mandela Mandela, Dino Da Cruz & Eliza Sala. Thereafter, in 2014, Regi & Margherita started to teach Kizomba & Semba as well. They have since been conducting regular classes in Sicily where they live. They have also taught at festivals in Italy as well as abroad.
