About Styling Bootcamp Kizomba is a genre of dance and a musical genre. Most of the time kizomba is danced in a close couple embrace, in line with its merengue roots. But not always. Most of the people have perception that styling is all about, showing Off and Cramming every single move. Ofcourse, you can use it for showoff but its more than just showing off. What is styling? The term “styling” is used to describe movement that is used to describe the elements of one’s personal “style”. How they are expressed on the dance floor, thus, “styling” has taken on its more inclusive definition that is neither feminine nor masculine and can range from body and head movements; arm, leg and foot gesturing; and varied timing. Why Its important to learn for Kizomba Dancers? - It helps you to connect with your sensuality. Kizomba, and especially kizomba styling, is all about bringing forward your inner sensuality. - You will learn how to move your body in a sensual way and this can help you to learn how to celebrate every single inch of you. - When you dance kizomba with a partner, you will get the chance to play off your dance partner to make that emotional connection that will highlight your sensuality. - It keeps you healthy, One of the most important factors involved with feeling sexy is how you feel on the inside. Keeping your body healthy will make you feel good and this will show on the outside with how you move, how you hold yourself, and your confidence. What Will You Learn in this bootcamp? - Kizomba Style, Body Isolation & Control - Essential Styling or Body Movement - Kizomba hip movements - Breakdown of exactly what you need to do with your legs, feet, and hips, and slow enough for you to see each movement perfectly. - How to incorporate footwork into the hip routine and how to hit those beats with your hip popping. - Control over arms, right down to the tips of every finger. They should be subtle and elegant, and how to use it to elongate your body and your poise. - Opportunity to record a video at the end of the bootcamp with Kizomba Queen What is Essential Styling or Body Movement Kizomba has a certain aesthetic. We don’t just walk and step here and there. There are ways of moving that truly match the organic feel of the dance (yes, ways-styles vary by region and subgenre of music), and for many people these styles of movement don’t come naturally. Undulations, hip rolls, isolations, and even gradual weight changes or contra-body movement are things that most people need to learn and practice in isolation before they can have a beautiful kizomba dance. Even pure followers with previous dance background can benefit from studying the body movement that is characteristic of kizomba. Don't miss the opportunity to learn from the queen.
