Kizomba Tango Fusion Workshop Friday May 18th w Kizomba Dancing!

Come learn Ocho's, Parada's and Calecita's with us Friday May the 18th at 9 pm at 877 Hamilton Street in Vancouver with 2 very dynamic and talented Argentina Tango dancers/instructors; Victor Freeman and Patricia Liliana Gómez! Victor and Patricia will be teaching us a progressive beginner’s / intermediate Tango / Kizomba fusion workshop along with some tips and instruction on ladies styling and men's leading. Patricia and Victor have promised us that they are preparing a fun and dynamic class for both leads and follows! One of the bases of Tango is the Ochos - which as a move can easily be modified for use in Kizomba - it is a really nice move for both Leads and Follows to learn. Victor and Patricia will also be teaching the "Parada Sandwich" - a movement in which the woman can add her own individual styling's and express herself while the man is given the opportunity to learn to give his partner space while at the same time teaching both partners how to communicate better on the dance floor. Lastly Victor and Patricia will be teaching the "Calecita" which is also a typical figure of tango. If you watch the promotional video included for this event in the header section - you will see all 3 moves - and I must say I myself am really excited to be learning them in pattern! Lesson starts at 9 pm and only costs $5.00 per person! At 10 pm our dance social starts; where we play the funkiest, the most groovilicious Modern/Urban Kizomba, Ghettozouk, and Tarraxinha music on the planet with R&B, Afro, Latin, and Traditional influences plus plenty of Urban Bachata all thrown in for an oh so "Silky Smooth" dance experience that will keep you dancing all night long! We also offer; FREE refreshing ice cold water and our signature Kizomba Dance Party CD’s for FREE! They developed as professors of tango salon and corporal training in the Carlos Gardel Tango School. They have also worked as dancers for the Producer: Producción - Griyo TV Griyo and with the prestigious Tango Club Orchestra and in various shows throughout the years for private events.
