With his family he moved to Lisbon-Portugal at an early age. Nelson has been living in the UK since 1999. He has been dancing Salsa, Kizomba and Merengue all his life. His teaching experience dates back more than 15 years. He has been teaching all over Europe ever since and is well-known for his energetic classes, full of fun and his extraordinary patience and passion for teaching and dancing. Nelson has UKA diploma as a professional dance teacher. Currently Nelson is teaching Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and Merengue classes on a regular basis in the Kent area and giving workshops all over the UK and Europe. More than anything Nelson is world famous as one of today's best Kizomba instructors. He is regularly giving Kizomba Workshops abroad & performing Shows internationally. He is working with UKA, teaching, training and examining dance teachers to become certified Kizomba teachers. Nelson produced the first ever English professional instructional Kizomba DVD with his partner Sophia and has since got Kizomba DVD Level I, II, III & IV on the market.
