Kizomba Weekend - The Art of Connection

Our dear Nemanja Sonero is back in Iceland due to our beautiful workshop we had last year. 𝗜𝗧'𝗦 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧 & welcome everyone who is on this dance path with us. Come and join this wonderful dance journey. We have 2 days of workshops Saturday and Sunday 19-20 th August. Each workshop is 75 min with a 5 min pause between workshops. Connection is our focus as before. Note: Individuals who register as solo will be on the waiting list & we will help as we can to link you to a leader or follower if they have registered as solo as well. From young age he studied Capoeira, Afro, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, Hip Hop, Tango, Salsa, classical as well as contemporary ballet, etc. His first contact with Semba music was in 2004, and in 2006/7 he encountered Kizomba. After that he worked with many different teachers from Angola, Cape Verde and Portugal who influenced and motivated him to develop his own unique smooth and precise style which got him known all over Europe and the world. After 23 years of full-time teaching movement & dance across the world, his biggest passion lies in creating a safe and open space in classes for deep connection & transformation. A blend of movement and self development forms a unique blend known to awaken the most beautiful parts of a human soul. He is also the founder of the World Kizomba Project, an organization whose purpose is to educate and connect 10 000s Kizomba dancers from all over the world with different events throughout the year.
