Kizomba WOrkshop with Ashod aka DJ Ashhh @ KL

THE KIZOMBA MASTER: Ashod a.k.a. DJ Ashhh from Bordeaux, France; a Kizomba instructor and DJ. Initially trained in salsa, he started dancing Kizomba in 2010, learning in many festivals around the world, and in the past two years with Albir Rojas in Bordeaux, with whom he also followed a one-year teacher training programme. He teaches regularly in Bordeaux and other neighbouring cities. He is a very dedicated teacher who likes to share his passion for Kizomba and dance in general. He has also given the first Kizomba workshops in KL in 2011. As a DJ, he likes to please the crowds playing all styles of Kizomba and Semba. Since the beginning of 2014, he played in international Kizomba festivals like the Paris Suave Festival, the Afro Latin Geneva Festival, and the Madrid Feeling Festival. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WORKSHOP INFO: 31st May (Sat - Intermediate) & 1st June 2014 (Sun - Advanced) ; 3pm - 7pm 2 Days Programme: - Intermediate & Advanced Kizomba routines - Leading & following technique (specific exercises to improve your connection) (something not taught so often!!!) - Tarraxa class (hip motion) : basic movement, leading for guys, following for ladies, more advanced movements - Notions about musicality (how to dance not only to the beat, but with the music, and how to interpret) - Complimentary introduction to SEMBA (faster dancing) on Sunday ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FEES: RM150 for 6 hours (2 days) including complimentary Semba.
