Kompa Friday

Hello everyone! Thank you for your support of C4-Kiz! We are excited to announce our next special event in Charlottesville: Kompa Friday! ✨ --- OVERVIEW: This is an open community social to gather to learn and dance Kizomba and more. There is a complimentary beginner-friendly lesson in the first hour. The remaining time is dedicated to social dance! THE WHEN, WHERE, AND HOW MUCH: Location 🏘️: Ashtanga Yoga of Charlottesville Dates 📅: 6/17 Time 🕗: 8pm to 11pm - approximately 1 hour for lesson, 3 hour social/practica Price 💸: $10/person Payment methods 📨: Eventbrite link in the details! Venmo or Cash at the door PRECAUTIONS 😷: This event is open to all, regardless of vaccine status. Participation in an indoor, close contact activity does come with in increased risk of injury and exposure to illness, so do take that into consideration before registering for this series. Masks are not required, however, participants may choose to wear one if they feel more comfortable. We ask that you stay home if you are feeling ill. In addition, this is a smaller space, so please practice good floorcraft! Be mindful of your place on the dance floor and of your partner's skill and comfort level. OTHER: Lastly, per the studio owner, no shoes are to be worn during sessions! This is to protect the wood flooring. You may dance barefoot or in socks, whichever you prefer. Water and snacks will be provided, but as supplies are limited, you're encouraged to bring your own water bottle.
