Celebrate Krishna's birthday with kirtan (mantra music), ecstatic dance, and a sanctified vegan and vegetarian food at SVA! Krishna Janmastami at Sacred Vedic Arts, Miami Saturday, August 16 marks Krishna Janmashtami, or Krishna's birthday -- so join us for one of our biggest parties of the year! As we join in this festival celebrated by millions worldwide, we commemorate the earthly appearance of Krishna… Think the celebratory vibes of Christmas and New Year’s, rolled into one! In our spiritual lineage, we know that Krishna isn’t just any divine form. He’s the Supreme Personality of Godhead, known for His deep, personal connections with each devotee. We’ll celebrate these relationships and love with an evening of sacred mantra music, spiritual talks, dance, a ritual deity bathing, and more. It all culminates in a sumptuous midnight vegetarian and vegan feast of sanctified food, or prasadam. We’re especially thrilled to announce a special spiritual talk by HG Srimati Syamarani Didi, to explain the significance of the day!
