La Chispa Tango Práctica - Walking Turns

Chispas, this Monday evening the theme -by Alfonsina- is walking turns. Tango is known as the 'walking dance' but obviously the walking (caminar) is not always in straight lines so we turn, and we turn often. Some options on how to do that best. Before and after the theme (takes about 30 minutes) there will be time and space to practice whatever fancies your wild imagination with whomever you can lay your hands on and wrap your arms around. La Chispa is an oldskool Golden Age type of Argentine tango práctica. All levels are mixed and participants are expected to help each other to improve their tango skills. More advanced dancers help less advanced dancers, just like in the Golden Age in Buenos Aires. You can come alone or bring a partner. In case you bring a partner you are expected to not only practice with your partner but also find other people to practice a bit with. We must be clear about this.
