Hello Salseros and Salseras !! A NEW DECADE is just days away!! How exciting!! So we welcome the 2020s using a decade theme- 1920s... The twenties remind us of glamour and romance !! Women : Long lean dresses - which are maximalist - Sequins, satin, lace, fringes, feathers, fur, velvet, headband and lots and lots and LOTS of things that GLITTER!! Accessorize with lots of jewelry and maybe long gloves if you have them! Go over the top! This was so normal in the 1920s as women got ready for jazz clubs... Look: Wavy hair + Bold Red lip + Cat eye + beauty spot 😉 Men: It’s easy - Comfortable Cotton / Linen / Corduroy trousers + full sleeved shirt with rolled up sleeves + either a waist coat or suspenders. Classic patters like block colors, strips, houndstooth etc work great!! Accessorize with a hat or with a flower in your pocket. Beginner Friendly Music - La Rumba this Saturday - expect beginner-friendly music from 7:00 pm till 8:30 pm and will pick up the tempo a bit after that till 10:30 pm when the club DJ takes over.
