Dancer's Choice Special is back at La Rumba this Friday! This week we let YOU choose the playlist! You can request your favorite songs & also up vote the songs requested by others! ============================================== HOW TO REQUEST? You can post your song requests on our Facebook & Instagram handles as prescribed below: FORMAT: Mention the genre of the song, followed by song name, followed by artist name. Please ensure you mention the correct name or spelling. If possible, provide a YouTube link for the song! E.g. Salsa - "Quimbara" - Celia Cruz http://youtu.be/TxRWQHCSmUg (IMP: Requests not following the format will not be considered!!) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BEFORE YOU POST: Please scroll through the wall/comments to check if someone has already requested your choice of song! If yes, just vote/like/heart the post instead of re-posting the same request. Please note that each user may submit a maximum of 12 song requests. Therefore, choose your song submissions wisely! Each post should contain just ONE song. A single post containing multiple song requests will be deleted. We will not be considering the 'requests' inboxed to us or posted on Furor's main page wall. ON INSTAGRAM: Post your requests in comments section of the La Rumba Dancer's Choice post. Again, post as comments instead of inboxing us. Click "Like" to vote for any and all songs to which you wish to dance at La Rumba. Even if you don't post a request, your votes will help determine the final playlist. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Selection of your requested track to the final playlist will be decided on the following criteria: Popularity (decided by number of votes ("Likes") & Adherence to dance-ability & quality as decided by Furor. More popular songs (decided by votes) will get priority into the playlist. However, a highly popular song may not make it to the final cut if it does not meet our viability criteria (inappropriate genre, explicit lyrics, non-danceable, bad audio quality etc.) Submission of new tracks AND Voting will close on 06-December 10:00 am. New tracks or Votes submitted thereafter will not be taken into consideration. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Order in which the songs will be played will be decided by Furor. We will try to keep the most popular tracks in the sweet spot between 9 to 1030 pm, but this can not be guaranteed.
