As a dancer, he was lucky to pursue the consistent dream of Contact Improvisation retreats, classes, events & workshops across Finland, Austria, Moldova, Netherlands, Belgium & Thailand. Phúc Source Phúc Source (@phuc.source) is a French-Vietnamese creator weaving together spirit science, art sport, edutainment, and technology. As the founder of First Contact Labs, he re-sources joy, truth, and love among collective intelligence to transform global well-being. As an artist, he is on a journey of self-discovery and self-expression through the art of Contact Improvisation, martial arts, surfskate and content creation across Vietnam. ▶️ About Contact Improvisation Founded in the 70s-80s, in America it is a young form of art that keeps growing & expanding. Perhaps the essence of weight sharing & pounding heart-beat to explore the inevitable power of gravity & relational touch remained intact as a founding base of the Contact Improvisation, yet it is staggeringly obvious to see the stark difference between the practice of founders vs the modern approach to the technique. The structure of the dance is oriented towards space and relation to gravity, the modality to preserve itself as an aspect of ongoing research & freedom of non-patented form.
