Living Arts Third Friday Ecstatic Dance Artwave. We will have many local artists set up displaying their work (more info soon), local kombucha available, local healthy cacao snacks, and live painting all fusing together. There will be acoustic music accompanying the artwalk. The weekly ecstatic dance will be a sound journey curated by XYLEM and feature some live mixing and live instumention from some talented local musicians. Ecstatic dance is an opportunity to release all judgements and immerse yourself in the sounds and atmosphere. The 90minute non-verbal experience follows a wave like pattern, going from stillness to chaos and back. Following the wave, Shuhandz will out on a chill downtempo set. Shuhandz is an LA based producer, but he has I'm his roots in the triangle and is the cousin and engineer to SOOHAN. Following Shuhandz, Raleigh based SNARZ will send you off with fill of good vibes and groovy tunes. The Living Arts Collective is a collection of living art, and we are run and supported by the community. We ask for a sliding scale of $8-21 to support the artists who bring their magic, and also to support the space and keep is a place for this healing expression to be released.
