Ladies Dance Team New Member Informational Season XI

LADIES TEAM INFORMATIONAL: Friday, February 24, 2023, 6:30p-8:30p *YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT VIA THE TICKET LINK* - This is a free event, but we have limited spots this season. - All other information will be discussed at the informational on Friday, February 24, 2023. ----- WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Event is in person! We are starting Season 12 in the Spring (April 15, 2023)! WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for dedicated women who have a passion for dancing that are willing to invest in themselves, others, and their community. This is leveled program that is designed to train you up from a beginner with no experience to a professional dance level, if you choose. There are four levels of team: - Development Team - Amateur Team - Semi-Professional Team - Professional Team This is not your “average” dance team. Your commitment, passion, grit, and determination are required. No dance experience is required. Training is provided. We perform both locally and nationally. WHAT WE DO: - We train all aspects of dancing: - Mambo/Salsa - Pachanga - Son - Afro/Afro-Cuban Movement - Bachata - Ballet, Modern, Jazz This team is a fusion dance team with the strongest roots in Mambo, Pachanga, and Son. We utilize all techniques to design and create art and to cross-train the body. This allows us to stay injury free and unique in style. We dance these techniques to ALL types of music. Here is a glimpse at the inside of the team: - Train 2+ days per week - Plus, specialized gym training 1-2 days per week - Groundwork training with world-class professionals (local) 4x/year. Coming this year in 2023: - Mambo training w/ Karel Flores Some previous training: - Afro-Cuban Training w/ Oneysis - Mambo Training w/ Ashley Magana - META PErformance Training w/ Kason & Ashley Hanson - Mambo/Pachanga/Son/Afro Intensive w/ Brandon Ayala - Zouk Intensive w/ Marissa Rivera - Kizomba Intensive w/ Gbenga Atekoja Perform on the road at Congresses and Festivals. Here are some places we have been (some we will revisit while new places will arise): - Miami, FL - San Jose, CA - Saint Louis, MI - Denver, CO - Guadalajara, MX - Reno, NV - Salt Lake City, UT WHO WE ARE: - The boss ladies are an all-inclusive, diverse, strong group of women of all ages and backgrounds training hard to be well-rounded humans and dancers. - We strive as a team to improve our dancing and make an impact in our community to spread love and strength. Since beginning our training in 2017, we have truly become a family and we are all very excited to extend it! - The team is split into four teams 1) Development Team 2) Amateur Team 3) Semi-Pro Team, and 4) Pro-Team. More information will be provided at the informational. - This is the team designated to travel and perform with me on the road. This DOES NOT mean the development team will not perform locally if that is what you choose.
