Ladies Performance Team Audition 26.02.16

We are a newly formed ladies group interested in performing. As yet performances are unpaid but working towards the future and building up repertoire, as well as applications for future funding . Any travel expenses to shows outside of the London area are covered. Training is every Friday 8-10pm (occasionally 7-10pm) camden; and costs £5 an hour (usually 2 hours) payable monthly in advance. If you let us know in advance that you will be absent we reduce the fee for the rehearsals you will miss. DANCE PROFESSIONALS and FULL TIME dance teachers pay a reduced rate of £5 per rehearsal, (payable monthly in advance). As a professional we know you still take many classes, when you have the time. We do work towards some paid work, therefore knowing the shows may be beneficial to you, for some ad hoc work. We promise nothing, however there may be opportunities for some employment. We work with mambo, jazz, salsa, cha cha and contemporary fuzing styles. You do not need experience in all these styles , a general class level in jazz contemporary or hip hop dance or advanced level salsa is preferable. To audition for the group come along to The Office studio under the arches, Camden Overground . (from the station turn down the connecting street, its the second large burgundy coloured door) Friday 9th October 2015 8pm. Please bring dance heels, jazz shoes and socks or at least one of these if you don’t have them all. A sheet of paper with your name contact details and a small photo, including what type of dance training you have had, and your goals. Wear tight clothing so we can see your movement. isoltation and body movement is important for this type of dance style. no previous performance experience is necessary. The alternative is to take a Monday technique class at Bar Salsa 7.30pm-9.30pm workshops this costs you £15. This is a 2 hour class, you may enquire as to if you have the required level for the group after the workshop. The audition Friday 28th is free it all take no more than 45 minutes please warm up in advance , you will be given just 10 minutes to do so upon entering the studio
