Ladies Performance Team Audition 26.05.17

We are a ladies performance group Training is every Friday 7-10pm camden; and costs £12 A REHEARSAL (usually 3 hours) payable monthly in advance. If you let us know in advance that you will be absent we reduce the fee for the rehearsals you will miss. DANCE PROFESSIONALS and FULL TIME dance teachers pay a reduced rate of £7 per rehearsal, (payable monthly in advance). As a professional we know you still take many classes, when you have the time, and continued training is important to you. Teachers especially rarely get the chance to perform, and it is alwyas good to be taking classes from other people. At £7 for 3 hours training, we think its a great opportunity for you to take part is a project at a time that most teachers are availabe to train. We work with mambo, jazz, salsa, cha cha and contemporary fuzing styles. You do not need experience in all these styles , a general class level in jazz contemporary or hip hop dance or advanced level salsa is preferable. To audition for the group come along to The Office studio under the arches, Camden Overground . (from the station turn down the connecting street, its the second large burgundy coloured door) Friday 9th October 2015 8pm. Please bring dance heels, jazz shoes and socks or at least one of these if you don’t have them all. A sheet of paper with your name contact details and a small photo, including what type of dance training you have had, and your goals. Wear tight clothing so we can see your movement. isoltation and body movement is important for this type of dance style. no previous performance experience is necessary. The alternative is to take a Monday technique class at Bar Salsa 6.30pm-7.30pm workshops this costs you £8. This is a 1 hour class, you may enquire as to if you have the required level for the group after the workshop. To audition is free and takes around and hour We do take on new girls regularly usually every few months, so you are welcome to enquire about joining us , you can audition if you are a general level dancer, or advanced level salsa dancer, who can pick up choreography has good body movement and pays attention to details to produce a clean routine .You do not need to be an expert, just have the mentality of a perfectionist who likes to push themselves.
