OC SALSA ADVANCED LADIES TEAM WHEN: Sundays 6-8pm Start date: STARTING Sunday April 7 WHO: Intermediate-Advanced Level Dancers. FIRST DAY FREE TO AUDITION! WHAT: OC Salsa Ladies Team is a 2 hour weekly training class for experienced dancers that are looking to improve their solo dance technique, styling, body movement, musicality and empower themselves, Students will learn a highly technical Advance Salsa Choreography On 1. This is a 6 months project, Performance Optional. INSTRUCTOR: Many Times World Salsa Champion Jhesus Aponte from Puerto Rico WHO IS JHESUS APONTE: He is Considered one of the best and most complete of the world Professional Salsa Dancer in the World (Yes! in the world) for his ability to Social Dance, Solo style Shines with body movement and musicality, a complete and entertaining Performer, technical teachers, Former Competitor and now currently coach and judge of many world salsa competitions. He as taught at most of the mayor Salsa Festivals around the world and trained most of the top salsa dancers around the world. We are honored and humble to have him at OC Salsa directing and choreographing the Ladies Team! ARTISTIC TRAINING From Jazz to Ballet, Music Theatre to Tap, and Hip Hop to Flamenco, he honed his craft at renowned institutions such as Bailos, New Attitude, Conservatorio de Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico, and Dance Machine. His artistic journey extended to the bustling dance scene of New York City, where he attended Broadway Dance Center, Steps, and Eglevsky Ballet, earning prestigious Summer Scholarships. Professional Career: Aponte's creative prowess extended to collaborations with stars, concerts, TV productions, music videos, and commercials, leaving an indelible mark on every project he touched. Jhesus Aponte teachings and performances have captivated audiences in countries like Spain, Italy, Monaco, France, Great Britain, Israel, Thailand, Morocco, China, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, South Korea, Australia & The Caribbean.
