Ladies Shines Team for the NZ Salsa Open

Welcome Ladies! This semester we are trying something new! Join our lovely Black & White Vivalicious ladies team! *** Will the routine be the same as at the Congress? Yes and No! After an intensive weekend with the gorgeous Jennifer Silvas I will be changing the choreography and the formations, while still keeping the music and the general theme ***What is the level? Intermediate- Advanced ***Is it suitable for beginners? Sorry, not this one! *** When are the training sessions? First session will be a Choreography Bootcamp on July 18th 1-4pm for 3 hours to learn the skeleton of the choreography and to give it a taste. At the end of this session you can decide whether you would like to continue into the performance team. In this session we will not be working on formations, techniques or precision, but on the general routine After that training sessions will be Tuesdays 8-9pm and Saturdays 12.30-1.30pm. *** What will it cost? The Saturday Bootcamp is $50 for 3 hours, after that: July $45 - 3 lessons at $15 ea August $135 - 9 lessons September $135 - 9 lessons October $135 - 9 lessons November $75 - 5 lessons Any extra rehearsals are $15 per hour *** Can I pay per class? No sorry, each month needs to be prepaid in full . There is no refund for missed classes even if you are sick, as you are paying for the choreography/ extra work Irina is doing in sourcing materials, organizing comp entries, etc etc etc and not just the hour of practice. *** How much is the costume? $160 to be paid by August 15th to Irina *** Can I choose the color of my costume? No sorry, as it is dependent on the formations ***What else will I learn in this course? - Multiple Spins technique - How to be sexy on stage ***Can I be in the team if I don't want to compete? Yes, but you will have to be on the side once the formations are set *** Where else will we perform? - Bay Salsa Festival -WCS Championshiops -Viva Family Show -Friends and Family Night - Sunday Viva Night -Possibly Salsa under the stard -Christmas party -If enough are up for it - Formations Championships in April. *** What is expected of me if I join the team? - Turning up to rehearsals on time every time :) - Doing the homework :) - Working on your own flexibility and strength ( Pilates, Ballet and Stretch classes are available to those who need extra motivation ) - Commitment to the team! :) *** How do I enroll?
