Ladies Styling w Ana Paula Rodriguez!

The DC Style Salsa Academy welcomes special guest instructor, Ana Paula Rodriguez! She is only in town for a few more weeks. Born in Fortaleza, Brazil, Ana Paula Rodriguez has had a lifelong passion for dance since childhood. From the age of 16, she began to devote herself to Dance at the School of Alex Amorim and has since participated in concerts, events, TV shows nationally and abroad! Some of her accolades include being champion in Steps Northeast, Vice Champion of the Salsa National Open Brazil in 2007, Campeãdo Baila Floripa Duo also in 2007, and Vice Champion again in the Castro Rey Contest in 2008 and 2013. In addition to performing, Ana holds an extensive experience teaching and dancing Salsa, Forro, Bolero, Rumba, and Sambas. Now residing in St. Paul and dedicating herself to studying rumba and NY On2, Ana is in DC for a limited time! Make sure to check out her splendid Ladies Styling Class mixing grace and precision! This 90 minute workshop will focus on adding unique embelishments and styling technique to your salsa basic. The class will include conditioning, drills, styling technique, and choreographed footwork/shine sequences! Drop-ins welcome.
