Lambada 101 with EJ & Loren

Hello lovely Austin dancers and beginners alike! 🎊🎉👏🏽👏🏽 The Dallas Zouk & Lambada Festival is coming up this July, but so many of our local dancers have not yet been exposed to Lambada and LambaZouk! In this class, EJ and Loren will be introducing students to the basic steps of lambada (front and back, diagonal, etc.) and introducing boneca concepts. While many of us know the basics, this class will use the second zouk timing where we dance on the quick! For those who may not know, lambada/lambazouk has two ways of stepping to the music in the same way that salsa has on-1 and on-2 options. For those who don’t dance, Don’t Worry! This is beginner friendly 🤗 We welcome you with open arms to this beautiful, fun, energetic dance We can't wait to share this facet of Brazilian Zouk with our Austin dancers!
