Lambada Taster Mini Series!

We are back for 2026!! 🎉🎉🎉 We are delighted to bring you a 2 week mini-series on LAMBADA! What is Lambada? 🙋 Lambada is a dance born from a mix of Brazilian folk and popular dances on the beaches of Pará, Brazil in the 1970s. It enjoyed a brief and intense period of worldwide popularity in the 1980s-90s, becoming immortalised in songs such as Kaoma's "Lambada" (1989). It was the precursor to Brazilian Zouk and is making a comeback in our communities over the past few years. Sounds awesome! What will you do? ❤️‍🔥 Great question! In this mini-series we will be running through the fundamentals of the dance. We will take you through the basic steps and the movement structure called "soltinho".
