We are so excited to announce that Ry'el ZenZouk will be returning to New Mexico at the end of September to offer this LambaZouk Dance Calligraphy Experience with Rachel Ashley! This time, we will be hosting in the beautiful city of Santa Fe, NM! This will be much more than just a weekender, as the intention is to create an entire experience that encompasses progressive LambaZouk Dance Calligraphy workshops, mindful connection activities, community buildlng, nature enjoyment, and spa day relaxation! Although it is encouraged to have attended Ry'el's previous workshops, new dancers are welcome with the request that you attend some local Zouk classes beforehand! We will continue to progress through the core LambaZouk curriculum created by the genius dancing mind of Ry'el himself. You will watch your moves transform from strict precision to smooth cursive, creating a dance story that flows effortlessly. ______________________________________________ 🕺Ry'el ZenZouk Dance Bio Ry’el is a performer, choreographer, instructor, and dance coach. He is also the creator of ZenZouk, a method of teaching Brazilian Zouk-Lambada and overall body movement through multiple exercises and philosophies based on the “elements," including earth, water, fire, and air- as symbols for analyzing dance and personal movement. Ry’el’s main aim is to educate and cultivate the appreciation for each one of these different styles of Brazilian Zouk-Lambada , building a strong foundation of versatility by embracing evolution through the classic techniques found in the origins of our dance (Lambada). ​ His rich formal dance training in classical ballet, jazz, world jazz, modern dance, international latin, and social dances like salsa, bachata, cha-cha and different brazilian zouk styles enables him to understand, share & create flavorful and fluid organic movement in each of his works as well as in his teachings.
