✨Welcome to the first ever audition in Norway for the Mambo ladies team Las Astorgas!✨ 💛Las Astorgas is a well known high quality Mambo team from Stockholm Sweden, run by the amazing Arcadia Astorga. Arcadia is one of the best Mambo ladies we have in Europe, and this time she wants to build a quality team in Oslo.💛 🔸First there will be a workshop open level from 12:00-13:00 to warm up and that is open for everyone. 🔸After that the ladies who are interested will go through a try-out for the team from 13:00-14:00. 🔸 You will know shortly after the try-out if you are a part of the team so we can have our first rehearsal Sunday before Arcadia leaves for Stockholm. 🔸No matter what previous experience or level you have, we want to see everyone that is interested. Team fee: 3500 nok total. (can be split in two). This includes 3x 3h workshop with Arcadia & 11 weeks of training. Extra costs for costumes will come on top (normal price is around 1000 kr). 🌸ABOUT Arcadia Astorga🌸 Arcadia has been dancing since the age of 7. With many years of experience as a dancer, choreographer and teacher, Arcadia has developed her own style as well as an ability to give her students the guidance they need. When Arcadia was 15 years old, she started a 3-year dance education, where she got the opportunity to learn a broad variation of dance styles. The program included Jazz, Funk, Modern, Ballet and many other styles. During this time, she was part of many afro-caribbean dance groups. Arcadia has been a dancer for some of the most renowned Latin American bands and artist such as Grupo Niche, Charanga Habanera, Oscar de Leon, Gondwana, Fulanito, Americo, Dj Mendez, Ikiz and many more. She has appeared on many Swedish television shows and music videos. Arcadia has taught at SalsaAkademin, Danscenter, Stockholm Salsa Dance and other dance schools in Sweden. Today, she is working together with her partner - Konstantin, sharing her passion for Latin dance worldwide. Together they run their dance company - AK mambo where they train hundreds of students, performers and social dancers in Scandinavia. Arcadia’s specialty lies in body movement and mixture of Afro-caribbean styles with Mambo and Salsa. During her career, Arcadia has been able to teach and perform around the world and share the stage with some of the best international dancers. Her dedication and passion is clearly visible both in classes and on stage.
