Feb 13th, Saturday 6.00 - 8.00pm IMPROVERS / INTERMEDIATE SALSA- for people with a fair amount of learning experience, or those who have danced socially for a long time however want to improve their lead/follow, styling and connection on the dance floor! Feb 14th, Sunday - Valentine Special 6.00 to 8.00pm IMPROVERS / INTERMEDIATE KIZOMBA- for those who are familiar with the basic steps and want to understand more of the complexities of connection, as well as a set of cool new moves to exhibit on the dance floor! 8.00pm to 9pm IMPROVERS BACHATA (Sensual) for the people who are comfortable leading/following body rolls and isolations. The workshop will be mainly focussing on body isolations and techniques. About Raluca Lehadus:- Raluca started dancing salsa as part of the Salsa Society within the University of Sheffield in 2010. She was involved actively in the society for over 3 years as a member, president and teachers liaison. This experience allowed her to quickly improve her dancing skills, explore new styles of salsa, bachata and kizomba and be exposed to a variety of teaching methods. In 2012, she became a member of Salsa Caliente Sheffield and assisted in teaching salsa and bachata classes for almost two years alongside the founder of the company, VJ. This is where she learnt how to combine elements of fun and technicality, musicality and styling, under the close supervision of her mentor, VJ. As she moved to Cambridge in the summer of 2014, she continued her dancing path with Joe Davids and the Latin Collective. Her eagerness to explore and always perfect her movements led her to take dancing to the next level and join the Latin Collective’s teaching team. Moreover, at the beginning of 2015 she joined the teams of Lukas Award winners Sami & Roxy - Cali Fuego - and discovered the world of Cali style salsa. Under the guidance of Sami & Roxy she improved her ladies styling, spinning technique, body movement and footwork. As member of the Cali Fuego Girls, she performed in UK's biggest events and congresses with the Scottish Salsa Congress being the most recent.
