To End Up on High Note we will have a Workshop with ELIANA SANCHEZ & MARTIN OJEDA! at 15:00 Tango Technic. Learn how to adapt your body to different situations in the milonga. By learning these techniques you will make your tango movements more clear, avoid injuries and make your dance more grounded and beautiful. Looking forward to seeing you all once again at Milonga 3D About Eliana and Martin Eliana Sanchez Arteaga has been teaching Argentine Tango for over 20 Years. Working with the best teachers in Buenos Aires and experimenting in the Milongas, she has developed a style which emphasises on the connection between the dancers and the music. As a teacher and tango competition judge, she taught at the Escuela Argentina de Tango and La Viruta, two of the largest tango schools in the world and judged at the World Tango Festival, International Tango Festival and World Tango Championships. She has been giving workshops in Aunstralia, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, UK, Latin America, China, Japan and Korea. As a Choreographer and dancer, Eliana together with Martin Ojeda founded the dance company: La Revuelta Tango. As a student, she explored different styles with various artists such as Juan Cantone, Mariela Lizarza, Gabriel Angio, Natalia Games, Horacio Godoy, Valencia Btiuk, Martin Ojeda, Alejandra Martiñan, Geraldine Rojas, Javier Rodriguez, Carla Marano, Melina Brufman Roberto Herrera and Claudio Gonzalez Martin Ojeda has been studying Tango for more than 20 years. At the age of 17 he started his professional Tango career and represented Argentina to participate in cultural exchange Argentine-China. He traveled around the world collaborating with famous Tango companies such as ¨Copes Tango Copes¨, where he figures as a principal dancer together with Juan Carlos Copes and Johana Copes. “Fascinacion de Tango” by Alain de Caro and “Tango Emocion” in which he worked with Mora Godoy In 2000 he was the winner of the first INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF TANGO SALON organised byTv channel “SOLO TANGO TANGO” , Whose jury was composed of: Maria Nieves, Dolores de Amo, Mingo Pugliese and Miguel Angel Zotto. Later, he became a wold acclaimed tango teacher, dividing his time between Argentina and numerous tours in Europe and Asia. In Buenos Aires, he worked both as a teacher and as academic director of “Moira Godoy Studio” and created the “Ballet Mora Godoy” with Eliana Sanchez. On several occasions, he was invited to participate as a juror at the World Tango in Buenos Aires, and to present his show during the opening and closing days of the Metropolitan Championship and the World Cup to be held in Buenos Aires every year. Martin is also the joint creator alongside World Tango Champion Escenario Juan Malizia, of the first PRACTICA for professional dancers: “ENROSCADISIMOS”, they have marked a new trend in how to teach and promote vocational training, having as guest teachers dancers like: Alejandra Mantiñan, Gachi Fernandez, Guillermina Quiroga, Roberto Herrera and Claudio Villagra.
