This is a practice developed in Brazil over the years by Pedro Consorte, Ronaldo Crispim, and Zuza Gonçalves, based on what they learned from masters such as Fernando Barba (Barbatuques) and Stênio Mendes, Bobby McFerrin, Fábio Brotto, and other masters of the Pedagogy of Cooperation. Nowadays Musica do Circulo is used in various countries around the world by facilitators, educators, and leaders in many different contexts.
