Destiny Rivera has been shimmying at family parties for as long as she can remember. She found her passion for teaching dance on middle school dance floors, where she would turn her timid friends into bubbly bachata dancers overnight. Since then, she has trained in various dance styles, including Ballet, Social Latin, Afro-Latin, and Ballroom. Although her first love is Bachata, she also has an affinity for other rhythms such as Salsa, Cha cha cha, Cumbia, Merengue, Reggaeton, Bomba, and Argentine tango. Her aim is to teach others how dance connects people to themselves, others, and the world around them.
