LATIN NIGHT @ OP ROAKELDAIS

hey, jij! [ENG below] Ken je het festival "Op Roakeldais" al? Dit festival is een week lang en staat in het teken van internationale muziek en dans. De uitgenodigde artiesten verblijven ook nog eens bij de lokale mensen, de dorpsbewoners! Dat is pas een uitwisseling van cultuur :) Op de vrijdagavond mag Stichting SalsaPlatform al vele jaren meewerken aan de Latin Night. Naast prachtige acts die vanwege het festival naar Warffum zijn gekomen uit het buitenland, nodigen we elk jaar een act uit de BeNeLux uit om een optreden te komen doen..het liefst met band! Dit jaar is dit niemand minder dan: QUIQUE!!! Geen idee wie hij is? Dat kunnen we nu nog begrijpen, maar na 28 juni zal daar verandering in zijn gekomen en zul je hem ook steeds vaker op de radio gaan horen! Deze Nederlands-Colombiaanse man en zijn band zullen met hun energieke muziek de dansvloer opwarmen, je benen zullen niet stil kunnen blijven staan! Dat durven we te verzekeren! Om deze act heen zal er op de Latin Night ook nog twee keer heerlijke muziek worden gedraaid door DJs, en nog een grote dans-act worden aangekondigd! This festival is organised yearly, for a whole week, and the artists from all over the world showcase dance and music from their cultures. Fun fact: these acts also stay with the locals in the village, a true exchange of culture! The Friday night of the festival is always a collaboration between Op Roakeldais and Stichting SalsaPlatform. Besides showcasing some of the Latin influences of the festival, we always invite a live act from Belgium, Luxembourg or the Netherlands to come join us on stage in Warffum, preferably with a band! This year is no different, and we are proud to welcome none other than: QUIQUE!!! No idea who he is? We understand, but after June 28th you'll be a fan, and he is about to break through into the charts in the Netherlands! This Dutch-Colombian and his band will give you all of their amazing energy and funky, happy music. There is no way your legs won't want to start moving, we will guarantee that! During this evening, before and after this act, you'll be entertained by Latin DJs and you'll also be enjoying a Live Dance Act that we'll announce nearer the date!
