Come check out the BEST LATIN DANCE spot in Hendersonville at Continuum Art for a fun night of primarily salsa & bachata with some merengue, cumbia, and cha-cha. A free lesson will be offered in the back room, followed by social dancing on the huge, beautiful wood floors in the main room with an incredible DJ on the stage. Large event space with plenty of room for social distancing and ceiling and floor fans circulating throughout the night for great airflow as the vintage garage doors and windows stay open during warmer temperatures. In the most symbolic way, let's return after the devastating events of Hurricane Helene with a CELEBRATION to awaken and return to a heartwarming night of drinking, dancing, and music with our beloved dance community. Dia de Los Muertos will be fully expressed with a face painting booth, sangrias, an alter to display pictures of your ancestors & give offerings, tattoo flash specials, giveaways, and performances! Come dressed to theme and honor those who have passed and those who positively support you now! Let's renew together! Have you always wanted to learn BACHATA or fine-tune it? Then, join us for our NOVEMBER event featuring RANDI ROLLEN as our guest instructor! (This event will begin immediately after Swing night.) 9:15-10:00pm Bachata Lesson Randi Rollen and Tola Sun (back room) 10:00pm-2:00am Social Dancing with DJ Mapache 11:30pm Giveaways and more! PAY WHAT YOU CAN!! ENTRY FEES & DONATIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO REBUILD THE ARTS COMMUNITY IN HENDERSONVILLE! (The primary recipients will be Continuum Art to ensure that their doors stay open and the Henderson County Arts Council Recovery Fund) $15 suggeted donation (cash, card, Venmo, PayPal accepted) $25 suggested donation for both events (swing and Latin) No partner or rhythm is needed and dress is casual! Bring your own beer/wine. Liquor and other beverages above 16% alcohol content are strictly prohibited. ALL BEVERAGES MUST BE BROUGHT INTO THE VENUE IN A COOLER OR CONCEALED AND FOR CONSUMPTION, BEVERAGES MUST BE POURED INTO PLASTIC CUPS. Masks are encouraged but, not required.
