Let's celebrate this milestone not only for Dance Culture but for Brisbane's Latin dancing community. Everyone welcome. Air-conditioned. Glow in the dark theme. Bring glow bracelets, necklaces and anything else that glows in the dark. We'll endeavour to have some available to purchase in the studio, too. ** Afternoon Workshops ** 2pm - 5pm How to be a Dream Social Dancer workshops with Kristi Hall For Salsa and Bachata social dancers $65 investment ** Party Schedule ** Doors open for the studio warming party at 6:30pm. Bring a friend/colleague for the introduction to salsa class at 7:00pm and pay only $10 each for the whole night (entry must be no later than 7:29pm). Social dancing from 8pm 'til midnight ** Party Entry ** Only $15 entry per person Or... Full-time students may also present their student ID card to enter for $10 at any time. Cash preferred: To make entry quick and smooth please try to bring cash. We can process Visa and Mastercards but it requires manual entry (no EFTPOS machine) and therefore will slow down your entry a bit. ** DJs and Music ** Our DJs will play primarily Salsa and Bachata music. Kizomba and Zouk will be played according to requests. We have invested in new speakers and a subwoofer that really rumbles. DJs: - DJ Clint - DJ James ** Food and drink ** We will supply some basic food and drink but we know that some of our students love to make and share food so please feel free to bring a plate to share. We will provide a "potluck" table. ** Location and getting there ** Find us at Dance Culture, 1st Floor, 474 Ipswich Road, Annerley. We have only just moved in so our building signage has not been installed yet. You will find us above Yesterday's Thrift Shop and the door is just to the right of Yesterday's. Plenty of parking available. We are 2 minutes from the nearest bus stop on Ipswich Road and a 9 minute walk from the nearest train station. ** More to come ** Further details to be announced.
