Latino Night på Vannvogna med Son Candela LIVE!

Vannvogna inviterer igjen til salsafest fredag 22. mai. Det blir kurs i salsa mellom 19:30 og 20:30 og konsert med salsaorkester Son Candela frem til sent på natta. Om du ikke danser salsa, er du velkommen til konserten. Son Candela has a very fresh repertoire, especially made for salsa dancers and listeners. The SON CANDELA project started when some Latin-American musicians met in Oslo in 2009, including Carlitos Kako Aranguiz from Chile on the Cuban tres guitar and Luis Sucari from Peru on the baby bass. These two friends wanted to preserve the legacy of their Latin culture, so they decided to create Son Candela salsa orchestra to bring high-quality salsa entertainment to the people and salsa lovers in Norway. The group was named Son Candela because we did not want to forget the roots of today’s salsa music, which was born from the Cuban SON and many other Afro-Cuban rhythms. CANDELA is also the perfect word to describe the passion and fire we want to share and transmit to salsa dancers, listeners, and the public through our music. Son Candela features a very fresh repertoire specifically designed for salsa dancers and listeners; we play Cuban salsa, timba, and salsa from Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, and Panama, just to make salsa dancers happy by offering variety across all salsa styles. Thanks to their energetic live performances, Son Candela has quickly become popular and is considered one of the most exciting new acts in high-quality Latin music, performing at major jazz, Latin, and world music festivals and salsa congresses such as Kongsberg Jazz Festival, Cosmopolite Scene, Drammen Scene, St Croix Huset, Byscenen, and many more others. Kurs holdere denne kvelden er Diego og Agata som underviser salsa og bachat i Corazón Latino Dansestudio. KONSERTEN starter kl 21:00 og det blir to sett av 45 minutter. Kurs er inkludert i billettprisen. Billetter er på ticketmaster og i døra kr. 350 Etter konserten vil det fortsatt spilles salsa/latino musikk fra spilleliste frem til kl. 02:00. Etter 23:00 er det gratis inngang.
