Learn Collegiate Shag! 4 week series.

Come Learn Collegiate Shag! 4-week progressive series Sundays in September: September 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd 5-6pm. Cost $40 for the series Participants must join on the first or second week of the series. Basic swing dance experience is encouraged, but not required, for this class. The Collegiate Shag, also known as “Shag,” is a lively partner dance that originated in the 1920's and gained popularity in the 1930's and 1940's. Shag is geared for uptempo music that instructors Felicia and Ramses will have you dancing to comfortably over the course of this four week series. This 4-week progressive will be held from 5-6pm, before the weekly Sunday night dances from 6-8pm at Club Tico in Fort Collins City Park.
