Learn to dance The Charleston from the 1920s from scratch! A 3-week short course for beginners. In this course we will be learning the partnered version of The Charleston. You don't need to bring a partner, we will rotate partners in class. A fun and friendly introduction to dancing authentic 1920s Charleston! The Charleston is incredibly fun to dance. And if you are a swing dancer, swing dances like the Lindy Hop evolved from The Charleston in the late 1920s. So the steps are easily incorporated into your Lindy too. This course is for absolute beginners, no experience needed. We will change partners in class, so you can come alone or with friends! This is a course, so you must sign up for the full 3-week programme.
