LEC Specialty Workshop Day with C&E

Join us for our Specialty Workshop Day at LEC with the amazing Carlos & Elysia. Sunday 1st October. Open to everyone!! These workshops you won't catch during the week on our regular timetable. It's a great opportunity to try LEC classes and upskill over a fun day of dancing in our new studios in West Melbourne. ** BACHATA CONVERSION (From Bachata to Salsa) 11.00am - 12.00pm Most Bachata socials will play at least one Salsa song during the night, so let's give you some basic skills to feel confident and be able to move some of the Bachata concepts you already know into Salsa. Feel comfortable learning Salsa as a beginner surrounded by other Bachateros! ** SALSA CONVERSION On1-On2 12.00pm - 1.00pm Curious about On2 Salsa (aka Mambo?) Come and learn the fundamentals with us over an hour of fun footwork and partnerwork. Convert your existing On1 moves to On2! (Lunch Break 30 mins) ** PARTNERWORK TURN & SPIN TECHNIQUE 1.30pm - 2.30pm A specialty workshop with a focus on single and multiple turns and spins for both the leader and follower for social dancing. Learn the appropriate postures, footworks and lead techniques to take your turns and spins from terrible to terrific! ** PACHANGA FUNDAMENTALS 2.30-3.30pm Pachanga is that groove that seems so effortless, but feels impossible to master! Let us guide you through Pachanga fundamentals, and finish with a fun footwork combo to a great Charanga track!
