I had some beautiful dances to some delicious music played by Dj To Correia. I was blown away by his music knowledge. He was like New Castle's hidden treasure and I am delighted to be bringing him to Kizomba Merseyside to share some of his music with us. ••• DJ Tó Correia ••• Paulo Correia, better known as DJ Tó Correia, is an entertainer who currently performs at many events in the North East. With many years of experience, he certainly knows how to create a busy dance floor. Raised in Luanda/Angola, his passion for music began when he was young. His entertainer cousin took him along to his gigs and introduced him to many artists and promoters, and he started to play cassettes, vinyl and later CD’s. In Luanda Tó played in Quintal parties and in many Angolan venues. In Portugal, Tó progressed his abilities and skills by surrounding himself with DJs, artists and promoters, learning how to keep the crowd moving. When he moved to the UK he began playing R&B, HIP HOP and Electro music in British nightclubs in the North East. Since being in England, Tó has played many different genres in various events: Angolan parties, birthdays and weddings. Most importantly, Kizomba, Semba is in Tó's blood and is his main passion. These years of experiences around the world makes DJ Tó Correia fun and adaptable, and this can be heard throughout his sets. Two years ago Tó began to share his knowledge and passion with the North East community, through his creation of Kizomba Mangole Party’s Events celebrated at The Globe in Newcastle.
