Let's dance at Sound Garden this Sunday

Let's go dance Salsa and Bachata this Sunday at The Sound Garden. Sunday Salsa Seduction (SSS), organised by Jean-Luc Lambs, has been a consistent and important supporter and promoter of Latin dancing in Brisbane for 18 years now. Before COVID19 pandemic, SSS ran every Sunday night for 14 years without fail. It has moved venue a few times over those years with its longest residence in a venue that was known as Casablanca. Hundreds of Salsa, Bachata and Zouk dancers of all experience levels would flock to Casablanca every Sunday night, rain, hail or shine, and absolutely pack this unique cellar venue. International guests, including visiting US Navy sailors on shore leave, would also always visit when they came to Brisbane. SSS then enjoyed residence at Jade Buddha, with beautiful views of the river, before moving to its current home at The Sound Garden in Brunswick Street Mall. This Sunday, Dance Culture's Paul Cavanagh will be supporting the night with a quick "Intro to Salsa" class from 7:30pm and then he will DJ one of the sets. Social dancing starts from approx 8pm. Entry from 8:00pm is $5 per person (at the door) and you'll need to bring government-issued photo ID such as a drivers license or passport. ** Suggestion ** If you round up your dance friends and arrive before 8pm (closer to 7pm or 7:30pm) you will enjoy free entry and you can order some yummy dinner.
