For the last regular Level.01 edition this season, we invited some stellar DJ’s. Texas and New Jersey are in the house, and so is our Belgian pride Pelican Fly. Come dance with us for the last time in Stockholm S this season. The Austin-via-Brooklyn native knows perfectly how to blend UK house, Jamaican dancehall or South African kuduro with American specialities like R&B or Jersey club music. With releases on Mixpak, Palms Out Sounds, SOUND PELLEGRINO and Dutty Artz, this guy really knows what he is talking about. Finally we managed to get him over, so prepare for the unexpected as there really is no one else like him. Nadus has come a long way since guys like Dirty South Joe, Tim Dolla, Mike V, and the Brick Bandits family put him on the map when he was only fifteen years old. Now a little older, Nadus has been touring around the world (often with his BFF Dj Sliink), while having his originals and remixes released on labels like Ninja Tune Official, Palms Out Sounds, Ghettophiles, and KINGDOM’s Fade to Mind Imprint. In anticipation of his Pelican Fly release he’s staying in Europe for a while. So we just had to get him over for Level.01! Head honcho at the thriving Pelican Fly label, he’s responsible for introducing the world to names like Cashmere Cat and Sinjin Hawke. Apart from his fine nose for A&R, he has got an ear for heavy selection. DJ Slow is - dare we say - the best DJ in Belgium to mix up stuff like Southern rap, pumping house, badass grime and chopped-up R&B with such a natural flow you could tell he was born to do this. This talent also got picked up by the Red Bull Music Academy, who invited him over in New York last May. Oil those hips because they will be shaking.
