We are gently awakening from mid-summer's quiet contemplation ~ join us in late August for a time of birthdays and soft turning ~ many of us are feeling the spiralling nature of time's passing ~ the seasons are shifting ~ some cycles are completing, others just beginning ~ in the midst of it all, we dance into the spiral ~ golden, perfect, and full of life's wonder and mystery We invite you to join us for a weekend of gathering on this beautiful land ~ stewarded with care for many turns around the sun ~ through shared meals, dance, meditation, music, and simple rituals, we will come together in the spirit of presence and connection ~ it will be a time to honour where we have been, where we are going, and the still point at the center of it all This is a celebration ~ and also a solemn time ~ not heavy, but just ever so genuine and real ~ a moment to mark, to move through, to remember ~ you are warmly invited to be with us ☀️ Schedule ☀️ Friday 5pm ~ Arrival, settling in 7pm ~ Dinner 10pm ~ Quiet time, rest Saturday 1pm ~ Arrival 2pm ~ Clothing swap 4pm ~ Nature walk, connecting with the land’s abundant life 7pm ~ Dinner ~ Potluck (bring a favourite dish to share) 8pm ~ Live music with Blaise Finnessey 9pm ~ Ecstatic Dance 11:30pm ~ Guest DJs 3:30am ~ Rest time Sunday 10am ~ Yoga & sound bath 1pm ~ Song circle 4pm ~ Music & Improve dance 7pm ~ Dinner Midnight ~ Rest time Monday 10am ~ Clean up Noon ~ Departure ☀️ The Flow ☀️ We welcome you to be there with us from Friday evening till Monday morning ~ food will be collectively prepared ~ each person will sign up for a volunteer shift to help with some aspect of preparing food or caring for the space ~ Saturday and Sunday mornings we'll do some breath-work and yoga ~ Saturday afternoon we'd like to have a clothing swap to freshen up and share the beauty of renewal ~ shedding what no longer serves and welcoming in new colours, textures, and expressions of ourselves Also, we're excited to have the talented Blaise Finnessey playing his celestial music during a mini house concert to support the fundraiser! He will be playing at 8PM before the ecstatic dance journey. Saturday evening we'll have our usual ecstatic dance, which will be followed up with a couple of tasteful electronic music sets from our guest DJs ~ we'll take the music till 3 or maybe 3:30am ~ there'll be spots to rest in the house, but bring a tent if you'd like to be in a quieter spot away from the bustling activity Sunday morning we will have yoga and a relaxing sound-bath with Masha and friends ~ afternoon we'll have a music jam ~ nature walks ~ food ~ and then a bit more music, being mindful of an earlier night ~ Stay over Sunday night too ~ but please be supportive to help with clean up Monday and leaving around noon ~ ☀️ Accommodation ☀️ Many will stay in the house’s collective crash pad areas. The expansive 900 sq ft loft will host about 20 people in cozy communal style with 10 beds and soft plounge areas. Camping is also available ~ bring your tent, sleeping bag, pillow, and warm layers as evenings around the fire or sauna. ☀️ Contribution ☀️ $50 per person per day (including dance-only participants) $100 for Saturday-Sunday overnight $150 for the whole weekend Friday to Monday Food is community-created: bring $20-$30 in groceries per day you attend or a dish for potluck meals. All participants will help with meal prep and clean-up shifts.
