Lillie Fest' 2019, (31st July to 4th Aug)

'Lillie Fest' 2019 is five days of fun, live music and events at Sligo's No.1 premium nightlife venue. It kicks off on the 31st of July and runs for the entire August Bank Holiday Weekend! So stop procrastinating about what to do, we have your Bank Holiday Weekend covered at Lillies Sligo! Here is the run down for one of the biggest weeks in our history! WEDNESDAY, 31st July: To kick off 'Lillie Fest' 2019, we are hosting a fundraising quiz in support of the North West Hospice Sligo. 'Ken-D & Raybo will be your comedy quizmasters as they record their latest hilarious podcast during the 'Great4DaTown' Quiz! €10 per person, 4 people per team, with lots of raffles prizes to be won on the night. So come along, help us to raise much needed money for a very good cause in Sligo whilst also having a bit of 'mid week' craic as we officially get 'Lillie Fest' 2019 underway! THURSDAY, 1st August: We are hosting the North-West's biggest 'Latino Night' ever with free dance classes from 9PM with Loander Hr and Jesus Daniel Canales, delicious Mexican food from Tuco's Taqueria, followed by DJ Tony Travers who will be spinning eclectic world music. This includes a huge collection of classic & modern styles of Salsa, Mambo, Boogaloo, Cuban, Afro Cuban, Raggaton, Bachata & lots in-between. There will be Piñata's, lots of space to dance, our signature cocktails, delicious Spanish beers and loads of latino inspired craic and fun until the early hours (De la mañana). See y'all on the dance floor! #Vamos #LetsGo FRIDAY, 2nd August: We are hosting an afterwork 'Clock Out Party' for all those hard working people in Sligo who are looking to get their weekend off to a good start! Starting from 6PM, we have teamed up with The White Hag Irish Brewing Co. to offer a beer tasting event where their award winning craft beers can be enjoyed and tasted along with a selection of Italian food from both Passione by the slice and Rugantino. Live music by (TBC) will help you to enjoy the free food and drink until our resident Friday night band T.L.C. get you all on the floor. SATURDAY, 3rd August: We are going to host a 'BIG IRISH TRAD SESSION' in the middle of the day! Sure why not, right? The Craic Addicts will kick off at 6PM, whilst we offer you a free Tullamore Dew Whiskey sampling opportunity. Do you like Irish whiskey and Irish music? Well then get down to Lillies early, to avoid disappointment! Then at 9PM, get ready for the amazing 'MASS Band' to light up Lillies as this famous 6 piece band plays its first Lillies event! SUNDAY, 4th August: All aboard the 'Lillie Fest' Gin Cruise up Lough Gill in Association with Mór Irish Gin! The rooftop boat will leave Doorly Park at 6PM and will return at 9PM. This is already proving to be a popular event so make sure you get your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Live Music by Peter Mooney Music followed by DJ Rory Mahon. Tickets €30 which includes 2 Mor Gin and tonics. Available to buy at 'Lillies Bar' from today. Following the 'Lillies Fest' Gin Cruise, join us back at Lillies from 9PM for our Sunday Session with the amazing 'Sir Lion and The Beef Chiefs' as they rock Bridge Street to its core once again! Tabby O Callaghan,Duane Gallagher, Mark Kennedy and Sean O'Reilly are some of Sligo and Ireland's most talented artists and they know just how to put on a rock show!
