Martyna and Smiltys are especially known for their very clear and 'big-picture' teaching methods, inspiring musical dancing, and love of helping dancers get to the next level. [email protected] ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTORS When they aren't holding teaching residencies in Genoa or Madrid, you've probably seen Smiltys and Martyna burning up the dance floor in competitions like at Harlem Festival and The Chase. Known for their clear, energetic classes, they will help bring new clarity to your movement as an individual dancer, more fire to your dance presence, and an even stronger connection to the music and your partner. Smiltys and Martyna started their path by teaching in workshops, regular classes and camps together in Lithuania for a while, until few years ago they went international with residency in Madrid at Swing Maniacs dance studio and afterwards in Genova, Italy. Together they have already taught in various festivals and workshops in Germany, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Switzerland, with more events in the Netherlands, etc. coming up! Individually they have both been teaching locally and internationally. For 5 years Martyna taught Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz and both Collegiate and St. Louis Shag locally in various dance studios in Lithuania. For the past 2 years she has been teaching Solo Jazz and Lindy hop at All Lithuanian Weekend in Vilnius as well as in festivals like Dragon Swing, Warsaw Lindy Hop Exchange and some more local events in Poland. Last year she taught at Crossover Istanbul with Felipe Braga. As for Smiltys, before starting to teach Jazz internationally, he went through a few years of teaching Jazz dances and working on improving himself locally as a dancer and teacher. He organized and taught in some Summer Camps, Workshops, and Intensives. Later on he began teaching abroad at events in Spain/Catalonia, Italy, Poland, and Turkey. He held a teaching residency in Italy for 6 months with Helena Bausells while continuing his travels, and from September 2017 he was invited to teach in Madrid, together with Martyna and Kamile — and later on in Genova in 2018 with Martyna. In the upcoming months Smiltys and Martyna are already booked for workshops/festivals in Geneva, Ghent, Madrid, Vilnius, Zurich, Amsterdam, Rome, Edinburgh, Turin, Genova, Heidelberg, Barcelona and some others.
