Lindy Hop Bootcamp

To enjoy the classes at Flying Home, it is suggested that everyone know some Lindy Hop Basics. This class is designed to get you up to speed quickly. This is an excellent opportunity to learn (or brush up on) on some Lindy Hop, including the signature move: a swingout. Or if you are a confident dancer and want to try to opposite role give this class a try. This iconic dance is rooted in African American culture, originating in places like Harlem's Savoy Ballroom in the 1920's and 1930's. Lindy Hop has captured the hearts of and drawn people together worldwide ever since! Some previous dance experience is helpful but not required. No partner required.
