Lindy Hop Detroit Swings Out! @ Detroit Jazz Festival

Hey Detroit Dancers! Join us this Labor Day weekend on a grand adventure down to Hart Plaza to dance at the Detroit Jazz Festival! This free festival is one of the longest running Jazz festivals in the world, and features artists from around the world and close to home here in Motown, USA. We'll gather off-site about an hour before the festival opens and head to Hart Plaza together, seek out jazzy, groovy bands, and dance where-ever we can find some space! Bring shoes you can dance in outdoors - the surface is completely unpredictable and will change! concrete, grass, dirt - not ideal, but if you have a dirty pair of Fuego's or a trusty pair of tennis shoes you'll be in good shape. Maybe, just maybe, we'll convince someone to put up a real dance floor next year...
