You are familiar with the fundamentals of Lindy Hop, and can do basic 6 & 8 count moves. - 1/2 price if you’ve taken this course with us before in the same role (rounded up to a multiple of $5). Drop-in friendly if you’ve taken this course with us before in the same role; OR for the first class if you meet the prerequisite, and for subsequent classes if you take the previous class. Swing Toronto offers two Lindy Hop Intermediate 1 courses, which you can take in any order you like: – 1A, Musicality & Improvisation – 1B, Vocabulary & Technique These three courses are designed to help you refine your technique, expand your vocabulary of shapes, and introduce elements of musicality and solo movement. Swing Toronto also offers a Partner Charleston course. Charleston is very much part of Lindy Hop. Taking the same intermediate 1 courses, and the Charleston course, more than once, perhaps with different teachers, is strongly encouraged to help you learn more thoroughly. Different teachers teach these courses differently, and even the same teachers do not teach exactly the same things every time.
